M198C
USB Interface Decoding Earphones Cable
Memory Series HiFi Tuning
Compared to the M110C from the same Memory series, the M198C adopts a more HiFi-focused sound signature, prioritizing high-fidelity audio reproduction. The conductor composition of the cable and the DSP settings of the USB decoding plug interact to deliver a quiet background and a balanced listening experience.
High-Performance DAC CS43198
Featuring the CS43198 DAC chip paired with a high-performance USB audio bridge chip, the M198C supports decoding up to PCM 384kHz/32bit and DSD256. The integrated USB audio bridge chip incorporates a high-performance DSP/ADC/PGA, enabling microphone recording and inline remote control functionality.
CNC-Machined Aluminum Alloy Hardware
The plug, splitter, and earphones connectors of the decoding cable are all housed in CNC-machined aluminum alloy shells, enhancing overall durability and stability. Every detail is crafted for refined appreciation.
Custom OCC Upgrade Cable
The M198C’s cable benefits from the technology of the Nyx Net earphones upgrade cable, using high-purity 5N OCC as the signal conductor. The outer nylon braiding is thick yet soft, offering both premium audio cable performance and excellent portability.
In-line Microphone Function
The in-line microphone integrated into the splitter features independent wiring for left and right channel transmission.
It uses a separate shielded OCC cable to connect from the in-line control board to the decoding plug, ensuring no wire splitting or shared signal ground loops, resulting in excellent shielding and anti-interference capabilities. The internal PCB of the in-line controller employs a high-performance silicon microphone, making it ideal for calls, gaming, live streaming, and more.
The Mysterious Indicator Light
The base of the USB plug features a ring-shaped LED indicator,
Blue: Standby mode
Green: PCM decoding mode
Red: Native DSD output
Two Common Earphones Connector Types
The M198C adopts an ear-hook design, with optional MMCX or 0.78mm 2-pin connectors.
*Compatible MMCX Connector: The M198C uses an expanded MMCX connector with a stepped design, ensuring compatibility with recessed MMCX earphones such as the Sennheiser IE series (e.g., IE900) and Sony IER series.
