“It is not the cheapest method for changing connector formats, but I think it isn’t overpriced at the same time. You obtain a specially designed conversion topology, compact CNC machined housing, good shielding, silver plated OCC internal wiring and portable design.
More importantly, this is a device that could have usefulness throughout the years with different sources, IEMs and headphones. While the important aspect for me is electrical implementation between different standard audio formats, the 4.4mm balanced output cannot be utilized as a 3.5mm output of a different shape. The DJ30SE produces an unbalanced output without simply adhering a balanced negative outputs provided that your source’s 4.4 mm utilizes the ground contact.
For someone who has a collection of awesome IEMs and headphones terminated with 3.5mm and needs to connect them to the corresponding 4.4mm source, the DJ30SE is an good choice.”
