“The ddHiFi Memory AL4.4 turned out to be a very pleasant surprise. What we especially liked is how smooth it sounds without losing any of its openness or energy. It does not chase extremes: bass is never excessive, treble is present without becoming aggressive and the soundstage feels spacious without being too stretched. The Memory AL4.4’s strength is its remarkably well-balanced sound.
The fixed cable is a small concern and the fixed 4.4mm cable also means you will need an adapter for single-ended sources. Fortunately, if there is one thing ddHiFi is unlikely to run out of, it is adapters.
The memory AL4.4 is beautifully made, comfortable to wear and just sounds mature. The contrast between its physical size and the scale of its sound is one of the things that impressed us.
The Memory AL4.4 is an excellent IEM and at its price, an exceptionally easy one to recommend.”
